We found our forever home through Geoffrey Matthews and was so excited to buy our first home. As much as we were able to arrange a 2nd viewing and a time to check parts of house close to completion date, If honest, was very underwhelmed by the level of customer service during the 3 months from purchase to completion and especially on completion day. Wasn’t greeted by estate agent we originally dealt with and was just passed keys in an envelope and that was it, 3 months of waiting and a lot of money spent and felt very deflated by experience. Glad we got our house but maybe not best place to buy a first house through. Every other person we know who has bought a house has got a little something from the estate agents or at least met at the house by agent, this was definitely not our experience.

Highly recommend the team at Stevenage! We stupidly started our house selling process with Purple bricks- disaster from start to finish! We decided to use Geoffrey Mathews. Thank goodness we did! For 15 years Geoffrey Matthew managed a rental property for me that was my main home. For a large majority of that Amanda Aukett was the management agent. Her professionalism was excellent. She kept on top of getting repairs and statutory checks done. I always found her approachable and friendly.My tenant offered to buy the property and it was the right time for me to sell. Bradley managed the initial stages of the negotiations very well. The branch manager, Suzanne Smyth then dealt with the final stages. I was always promptly updated by phone or email until the sale completed.I highly recommend them to either manage your rental property or your house sale.

i recently went in to these guys for help in finding my first mortgage at the age of 50 and didn't think for one minute i stood any chance . after being introduced to lawrence and giving him a hard task of finding me what i wanted on a budget i am now the proud owner of my house.i cant thank this guy enough he was very professional always had time for us and dealt with everything and more for us. being our first time it was very scary but lawrence sorted everything including insurances i could not be happier and once again thank you all very much i will certainly come back in the future

Do not trust this agency, especially Mark who lead me to believe they would support me in the sale of my flat that had a section 20 on it. He let it rot on their books for over 6 months! When I tried to work with them and find other solutions I was put on loud speaker for the trainee who they had appointed to sell my flat to hear. I explained that the trainee was not making me aware of no shows and this was resulting in me cleaning my flat and standing out side for no reason. The trainee was wasting my time and not communicating with me, her name is Raluca. Cairen was the person who put me on loud speaker for the office to hear without my consent. I was explaining to her that it had been 6 months and I was not getting a very good service, Cairen replied, that’s fine we can not longer serve you. She preferred to lose my business instead of listening to my concerns and offering me a more experienced agent that would communicate with me. When I look into Mark eyes I see a deceitful person, I see someone who lies, I see someone who has no compassion. I feel his actions are fake like the rest of the team. I would use Haart or Taylors in Stevenage. I have worked with all of them over the three years I was trying to sell my flat and those two are the best.
