Great Ashby Area Guide
Development in the Great Ashby area began in the early part of 1999 and has fastly become one of the most desirable areas to live in the northern part of Stevenage. Highly regarded builders such as Croudace, Copthorne and Bovis Homes are a few to mention who have all contributed to different phases and styles of build over the years. Ranging from hi spec apartments, to 1, 2, 3 and 4+ bedroom homes.
Great Ashby attracts a variety of people to the area, offering homes of good proportion and of good value to single occupancy, young couples and families alike. A low crime rate and a real community feel are also contributing factors to its popularity and influx of commuting residents to the area.
Largely surrounded by woodland, the area includes a new district park with playing fields, play areas and a nature reserve.
